Martin Sauer organised a BSAC SDC: Basic NITROX

“Seven tired divers (Ralf, Michel, Armin, Wigand, Luca, Ulrich, Kevin and Allan) met on Saturday morning, 18th March 2006, at 08:15h in a meeting room of Roche ….” Sounds familiar? Reminds you of an article you’ve read before? Too right - yes, indeed, again it was time for a NITROX course! Once again Chris Edwards volunteered to help us in our training, and he held the SDC “Basic NITROX” exclusively for us here in Basel. From the morning until the afternoon of this Saturday the participants spend the day learning how to dive with NITROX, and last but not least had a “men’s only” day without talking about football! As already last time, the course was a full success, and according to Chris the results of the exam were far about the average he sees back at home in the UK - proof enough, that an excellent teacher and a committed audience can overcome language barriers quite easily. Thanks to Chris, who sacrificed a weekend to provide the training for us!
