The Glühwein Dive December 12, 1998

Held at Oberhausen lake in Germany 15 adults and 4 children turned our on this beautiful Sunday morning. The weather was fantastic for the time of the year, snow on the ground, sunshine and blue skies.

Five divers (Allan, Daniel, Kevin, Ralf and Matthias) braved the icy waters, while the others built a fire and helped Christian Hamm (with frequent tasting!!) as he mixed his now famous hot wine. This was a welcome treat for the shivering divers as they stripped off their steaming wet suits and tried to get warm.

Kevin had organised a meal in the village and this completed a wonderful day. Thanks to all of you who attended and let’s try and get even more people out this year.
